Best to go at night to see the convention centre lit up in the colours of the Rwandan flag. Pity we couldn’t get very close. Be mindful of photographers trying to charge you for professional pictures.

The conference venue was excellent. We had plenty of breakout rooms for our sessions, and the food was abundant and delicious. The security measures were reassuring, with thorough scanning procedures in place.

The staff here were so so nice. It was one of the last places we visited and that meant we were late and the place was closed. But the staff tried to still give us the Kigali feel and let us enter the place. I would describe this as the heart of Kigali the same way Uganda has the River Nile. So I was so happy for this experience even though I didn't get enough time to get the full experience. For that reason I hope to get a second visit during my second visit ☺️.
