Begin your day with a wholesome breakfast before heading out to explore the beauty of Miwaleni Waterfall and Lake. Wander through lush greenery, feel the cool mist of the falls, and soak in the serenity of this hidden gem. Enjoy peaceful moments by the water’s edge, taking in the views and the refreshing atmosphere that makes this area so special. After your adventure, continue to Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment, where you’ll settle in for a relaxing overnight stay. Here, surrounded by sweeping vistas and the tranquillity of the escarpment, you can unwind and reflect on a day filled with nature’s quiet wonders.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera and home to around 30,000 large mammals. Within its natural borders, you’ll encounter the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, alongside zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and more. The crater offers one of Africa’s best wildlife-viewing experiences. In the evening, retreat to Africa Safari Karatu, a serene lodge perfectly located to take in the exceptional beauty of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Visit the Engaresero Footprint Site, where over 400 fossilised hominid footprints, 5 000–19 000 years old, reveal ancient behaviours—some appear to jog, others show unusual toes, and many indicate groups of women and children travelling together. Join a Maasai guide for a Flamingo Walk at Lake Natron, where endangered lesser flamingos paint the alkaline waters pink. Hike to waterfalls, passing villages and wild scenery, then visit the Engaresero Footprint Site, with over 400 fossilized hominid tracks revealing ancient life. End the day with a scenic drive to Africa Safari Maasai Boma, inspired by a traditional boma, where you’ll be immersed in Maasai culture overnight.
