Important note: This package includes Arusha pickup on Day 1 morning and Arusha drop-off on Day 5 after the trek. Accommodation in Arusha before and after the climb is not included and should be arranged by the traveler. All mountain logistics are handled by our professional team including guides, porters, meals on the mountain, hut accommodation, and park requirements.

Day 1: Arusha to Marangu Gate then Trek to Mandara Hut (2,720 m)
Morning pickup from Arusha and drive to Marangu Gate for registration and briefing. Begin the trek through lush rainforest with chances to spot blue monkeys and beautiful forest birds. The trail is steady and scenic, leading to Mandara Hut (2,720 m). If time and energy allow, take a short acclimatization walk to Maundi Crater for your first wide views of the mountain landscape. Overnight at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Mandara Hut (2,720 m) to Horombo Hut (3,720 m)
After breakfast, continue trekking as the rainforest opens into heath and moorland. Enjoy expanding views and a cooler, higher-altitude climate. The route is gradually ascending with great photo points along the way. Arrive at Horombo Hut (3,720 m) in the afternoon, with views of Mawenzi Peak and, on clear days, Kibo. Rest, hydrate, and prepare for the higher sections of the climb. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 3: Horombo Hut (3,720 m) to Kibo Hut (4,700 m)
Today is an important acclimatization day as you hike into the alpine desert. The trail crosses the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, a dramatic high-altitude landscape with vast open space and powerful views. Arrive at Kibo Hut (4,700 m) in the afternoon. Early dinner and rest, as you will begin your summit attempt around midnight. Our guides will do a final gear and safety check to set you up for a strong summit push. Overnight at Kibo Hut.

Day 4: Summit Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) then Descend to Horombo Hut (3,720 m)
Around midnight, begin the summit attempt with your guide team at a steady pace. Trek up steep volcanic scree to Stella Point, then continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate the achievement and take photos. Descend carefully back to Kibo Hut for a short break, then continue down to Horombo Hut for a well-earned rest. This is the most challenging day, and our guides manage pace, hydration, and safety closely throughout. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 5: Horombo Hut (3,720 m) to Marangu Gate then Return to Arusha
After breakfast, descend through moorland and rainforest back to Marangu Gate. Complete park formalities and receive your summit certificate. Then transfer back to Arusha where the service ends. Travelers can continue with their own onward plans or accommodation arrangements.
