Day 1: Arusha to Londorossi Gate + Trek to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Early morning pick-up from Arusha and transfer to the Lemosho starting point. After registration at Londorossi Gate, we begin the trek through lush rainforest, surrounded by towering trees, birdsong, and occasional sightings of colobus monkeys. The trail is gentle and designed to ease you into the mountain rhythm as our crew sets the pace "pole pole" for strong acclimatization. We arrive at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp where your tents are ready, followed by a hot dinner and a detailed guide briefing for the days ahead.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
After breakfast, we leave the rainforest behind and climb steadily into the heath and moorland zone. The trail opens up with wide views and fresh mountain air as we approach the Shira Plateau, one of the most scenic sections of Kilimanjaro. Your guide maintains a comfortable "pole pole" pace to support acclimatization while the crew stays ahead to prepare camp. By afternoon we reach Shira 1 Camp, where you can relax, enjoy a warm meal, and take in the sweeping landscapes of the plateau as the team completes a full health check and briefs you for the next day.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Today is a beautiful acclimatization day across the Shira Plateau. After breakfast, we trek on gentle undulating terrain with panoramic views of Kibo Peak and the vast Shira landscape. Your guide keeps a steady pace while monitoring your breathing and energy levels, and we stop regularly for hydration and photos. By afternoon we arrive at Shira 2 Camp, a great location for rest and early adaptation to altitude. After settling in, your guide conducts a health check and shares a clear briefing for the next day's "climb high, sleep low" acclimatization plan.

Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
This is an important acclimatization day and one of the most effective for summit success. We trek from Shira 2 toward the Lava Tower area, entering the alpine desert zone where the landscape becomes rugged and dramatic. We spend time at higher altitude to help your body adapt, then descend to the greener Barranco Valley for the overnight at Barranco Camp. This "climb high, sleep low" approach supports better acclimatization and improves comfort on summit night. In the evening, we do a full health check and preparation talk for the Barranco Wall, including pacing, safety, and teamwork.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp via Barranco Wall
After breakfast, we begin the exciting climb up the Barranco Wall. Your guide leads with clear instructions and safe spacing, helping everyone move confidently while enjoying the views. After reaching the top, we continue across ridges and valleys toward Karanga Camp. The day is moderate but rewarding, and we keep a steady rhythm with plenty of hydration stops. By arriving at Karanga earlier, you have time to rest, stretch, and recover, while the team completes routine health checks and prepares you for the next push toward base camp.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (Summit Base Camp)
Today we move to Barafu Camp, the summit base camp. The trail is steady and the altitude becomes more noticeable, so we walk slowly and efficiently to conserve energy. On arrival, we rest early and focus on hydration, nutrition, and mental preparation. Your guide gives a detailed summit briefing covering timing, layering, headlamp use, pacing, and safety procedures. We also complete a full pre summit health check to confirm readiness. An early dinner is served, then we sleep early before the midnight summit start.

Day 7: Summit Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) + Descend to Mweka Gate + Return to Arusha
We begin the summit attempt shortly after midnight. The climb is slow and steady with regular short breaks, guided closely for safety and motivation. At sunrise, we reach Stella Point and continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 m. After celebrating and taking photos, we descend carefully back to Barafu for a short rest, then continue down through changing landscapes toward Mweka Gate. After signing out and receiving summit certificates, our vehicle transfers you back to Arusha, marking the end of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
