Day 1: Arrival – Dar es Salaam
Your safari begins upon arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, where you will be warmly received by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Dar es Salaam. This first evening allows you to rest and recover from your journey, preparing for the adventure ahead. Overnight in Dar es Salaam.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam – Selous / Nyerere Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, depart for Selous Game Reserve, also known as Nyerere Game Reserve, one of Africa’s largest protected wildlife areas. Covering over 50,000 square kilometers, this reserve is renowned for its unspoiled wilderness and rich biodiversity. Enjoy your first afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and an array of antelope species. Selous is also home to predators such as lions and leopards. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight, immersed in the peaceful African wilderness.

Day 3: Selous – Boat & Walking Safari
Experience Selous from a unique perspective with a morning boat safari on the Rufiji River, offering excellent opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterbirds in their natural habitat. Later, embark on a guided walking safari with an armed ranger, exploring the bush on foot to learn about the smaller details of the ecosystem, including plant life, animal tracks, and bird species. This combination of boat and walking safaris provides a more intimate wildlife experience, enhancing your connection with the environment. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in Selous.

Day 4: Selous – Mikumi National Park
Depart Selous after breakfast and drive to Mikumi National Park, often referred to as the “little Serengeti” due to its open savannahs and large wildlife populations. Mikumi is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelopes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, taking in the scenic landscapes and observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Overnight at a budget or midrange lodge or campsite near Mikumi, experiencing the African bush at close quarters.

Day 5: Mikumi – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive across the Serengeti plains, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras roam alongside predators such as lions and cheetahs. The Serengeti’s endless plains provide unparalleled opportunities for wildlife photography and unforgettable safari moments. Overnight in a lodge or tented camp within Serengeti National Park.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
