Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
You will be welcomed in Arusha from either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. You will be picked up and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Here you will meet your safari guide for the next day safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will begin your first game drive through a landscape dominated by ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts large concentrations of wildlife. The park is famous for its impressive elephant herds, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a rich variety of birdlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Later in the day, you will exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Following an early breakfast, you will set off towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will witness changing landscapes—from cultivated highlands to vast open plains—as you approach the world-famous Serengeti National Park. After entering the park, you will enjoy a game drive en route to your camp, spotting wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of plains game. The Serengeti’s endless horizons and rich biodiversity make it one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. You will arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the late afternoon, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the African sky.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to extensive game viewing in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive, exploring different areas of the park depending on the season and wildlife movements. The Serengeti is renowned for its high density of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras (seasonal). You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife. In the late afternoon, you will return to your camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This scenic drive offers additional wildlife viewing opportunities as well as stunning views of the highlands. You will arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon, where you can admire breathtaking panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The remainder of the day is spent at leisure at your lodge, enjoying the cool highland air, dinner, and an overnight stay near the Ngorongoro crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
An early breakfast is followed by a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and large flocks of flamingos at the soda lake. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend and drive to Karatu. Arriving in the late evening, you will check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and spend the night near the park.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and rich birdlife. The park’s lush groundwater forest, open grasslands, and lake shoreline create a unique safari atmosphere. After the game drive, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Depending on your travel plans, you can be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzania safari.
