Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi Region
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our Silver Spark Africa Safaris representative. After a short briefing, you will begin your scenic journey toward the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest region home to Uganda’s famous mountain gorillas. As you leave the shores of Lake Victoria, the road unfolds through lush countryside, small villages, rolling hills, and farmlands that showcase Uganda’s natural beauty. Along the way, you may enjoy optional stops for photos, refreshments, or a local lunch depending on your arrival time.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Spend the day exploring the beauty of Bwindi, home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Trekking through Bwindi brings you face-to-face with one of life’s rarest encounters observing a family of mountain gorillas in their natural home. You may watch the silverback standing guard, juveniles playing, or mothers nursing their infants. This hour-long experience is powerful, emotional, and unforgettable.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Kibale Forest
In the morning, set off for your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Later, transfer to Kibale Forest, famous for its high concentration of chimpanzees. The return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest before starting your scenic transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, the “Primate Capital of Africa.” The drive takes you through rolling hills, tea plantations, and beautiful countryside landscapes, offering photography opportunities along the way. Arrive at your lodge in Kibale in the late afternoon or evening. Check in, relax, and enjoy the tranquil forest atmosphere as you prepare for another thrilling adventure chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest the following day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale – Transfer to Jinja
Start the day with chimpanzee tracking and primate exploration in Kibale Forest. Later, drive eastward toward Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. Wake up to the enchanting sounds of the forest and enjoy an early breakfast before heading to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for your chimpanzee tracking adventure. Kibale is celebrated as the Primate Capital of Africa, home to over 13 primate species, with the largest population of wild chimpanzees in East Africa. On trek, once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior watch as they groom each other, swing through the trees, play, communicate, or feed.

Day 5: Jinja – Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park (Kenya)
After breakfast in Jinja, enjoy a relaxed morning along the banks of the River Nile before beginning your cross-border journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya. Today is a scenic travel day that connects the adventure capital of Uganda with one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. An optional lunch stop will be made en route before descending into the Great Rift Valley, where the scenery becomes increasingly beautiful dotted with acacia woodlands, volcanic hills, and sweeping savannah plains. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in the afternoon. Check in at your lodge and relax as you take in the serene views of the lake and surrounding forest. Later, enjoy dinner and prepare for tomorrow’s exciting game drive inside this stunning alkaline lake ecosystem.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will be driven through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. The wild animals found in the Parks are Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of plain games including Impala, Zebra, and both Thomson’s and grant's Gazelles.

Day 7: Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Today there will be a possibility to take a hot air balloon ride for an extra cost. "Take to the skies for the ultimate Maasai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You'll ascend in the early morning when winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colorful bag begins to bulge and take shape. Now board the traditional wicker gondola basket while the expert pilot makes final adjustments. As the pink and red fireball of the sun rises in splendor over the plains, you're up, up, and away for the ballon ride of a lifetime.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure
Enjoy a final morning game drive before transferring to Nairobi for your international departure.
