8-Day Tanzania Wildlife & Calving Season Safari

After enjoying breakfast, make your way to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its remarkable baobab trees and large elephant herds. Dedicate the entire day to a game drive exploring the park's varied landscapes and watching wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes along the Tarangire River.

After having breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spend an entire day observing wildlife as you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Observe a diverse range of animals, such as flamingos, elephants, lions, and black rhinos. Relish a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before making your way back to the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Ndutu, a wildlife-rich area between Ngorongoro and Serengeti, especially famous from December to March during the wildebeest calving season. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the open plains, watching newborn calves and predators on the hunt.

Spend the entire day in the Ndutu region, where thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles give birth, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. This is a paradise for photographers and wildlife lovers.

After breakfast, continue to Central Serengeti, renowned for its endless plains and rich predator population. Enjoy game drives en route, arriving at your lodge in the heart of Serengeti by afternoon. Spend the evening relaxing and watching the sunset over the savannah.

Experience an entire day discovering the wildlife-rich ecosystem of the Serengeti. Morning and evening game drives offer the greatest opportunity to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large groups of wildebeest and buffalo. Additionally, you may choose to embark on a sunrise hot air balloon safari (for an additional fee) to enjoy a stunning aerial perspective of the plains.

Following breakfast, embark on a brief morning game drive before your planned flight from the Serengeti to Arusha. Once you arrive, you will be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight. This concludes your remarkable Tanzania safari experience with Ron Adventure.
