Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early morning pick-up from Arusha, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through Maasai plains and rural villages. Upon arrival, you will begin your first game drive, exploring a park renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich birdlife. The Tarangire River acts as a lifeline for wildlife, attracting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many antelope species, especially during the dry season. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while taking in the natural surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will continue with a short game drive before heading to the budget lodge at Mto wa Mbu. Dinner will be prepared by the safari cook, followed by an overnight stay.

You will enjoy a game drive en route to your campsite, with chances to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of plains game. You may choose an early morning drive to witness predators hunting at sunrise, followed by breakfast at the campsite. The day will be spent tracking wildlife across different areas of the park, including kopjes where lions often rest and open plains favored by grazing animals. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Serengeti National Park environment. In the late afternoon, you will return to the campsite for dinner and overnight, reflecting on the day’s remarkable sightings under the starlit African sky.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day - Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, you will depart Serengeti National Park with a final game drive as you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor hosts a dense concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhinoceros. You will enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool while taking in the stunning crater scenery.
