Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and be transferred directly to Moshi for rest and waiting for the next day Mount Meru Trek for 4 Days. Here you will meet your guide for briefing and checking your available equipment for climbing. If some miss, you may rent at the outdoor shop in Moshi city.

Day 2: Moshi to Momella Gate – Miriakamba Huts (Mount Meru Trek Begins)
After an early breakfast, you depart for Arusha National Park and register at Momella Gate, where the Mount Meru trek officially begins. Accompanied by a professional mountain guide, porters, and an armed ranger, you start hiking through lush grasslands and montane forest. Along the way, you may encounter giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and colobus monkeys in their natural habitat. The trail gradually ascends to Miriakamba Hut, offering beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro in clear weather. Dinner and overnight are spent at the hut, surrounded by pristine mountain wilderness.

Day 3: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut
Today’s trek continues through dense forest and alpine vegetation as you gain more altitude toward Saddle Hut. The hike is moderate but rewarding, with panoramic views of the Meru Crater and the surrounding plains. In the afternoon, you may take a short acclimatization hike to Little Meru for spectacular sunset views and improved altitude adaptation. The cool mountain air and peaceful environment make this an unforgettable experience. Dinner and overnight stay are at Saddle Hut, preparing for the summit attempt later in the night.

Day 4: Summit Attempt – Miriakamba Hut
In the early hours of the morning, you begin the summit push to Socialist Peak, the highest point of Mount Meru at 4,566 meters. The ascent is steep and challenging, but the sunrise views over Mount Kilimanjaro and the Rift Valley are incredibly rewarding. After reaching the summit and taking photos, you descend back to Saddle Hut for a short rest and then continue down to Miriakamba Huts for rest and overnight.

Day 5: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate to Arusha
On the final day, you will continue to descend down to Momella Gate then board your vehicle and being transferred directly to Arusha. You are transferred back to Arusha for a well-deserved rest, hot shower, and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you depart Arusha for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you enjoy breathtaking landscapes and may spot wildlife before even reaching the park. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you embark on an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of herbivores. The day ends with dinner and overnight stay at a safari tented camp inside the park.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views of the crater highlands and Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival, you check in at your tented campsite located on or near the crater rim, offering spectacular panoramic views. The afternoon is spent relaxing and enjoying the scenery, preparing for the next day’s crater exploration. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha
Early in the morning, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of the world’s most unique wildlife destinations. The crater floor is home to a dense population of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and flamingos around the soda lake. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you ascend and begin the drive back to Arusha. Overnight stay is arranged in Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.

Day 9: Departure
Depending on your travel plans, this day can be used for departure or optional activities such as a cultural tour, coffee plantation visit, or relaxation at a nearby lodge. You are transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight. This flexible day allows the itinerary to extend from 7 to 9 days, ensuring a comfortable and unhurried Tanzania experience.
